Assistant Professor

Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine

Education:

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dr. Taylor completed his internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and residencies in general and plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Maryland Baltimore.

In addition, he completed fellowships in plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Maryland Baltimore, as well as a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez Hospital, Mexico City, Mexico.

Dr. Taylor specializes in facial aesthetic surgery, invasive craniofacial surgery, and body contouring surgery. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a member of various professional and scientific societies including the American Society of Reconstructive Transplant Surgery and the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery.

He has a special research interest in engineering new bone for reconstructive surgery in both children and adults through the utilization of stem cells and growth factors. Dr. Taylor’s research in this area has been presented at major national and international conferences. His work has also been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Taylor sees patients and performs surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
